Dasarath received brahminical initiation into the Vedic tradition of Vaishnava Culture in 1972.  Since then he has traveled widely thought the world giving lectures and seminars on different facets of the ancient spiritual culture of India.  He has pioneered the establishment of Vedic Centers in Arizona, such as the Caitanya Cultural Center and Govinda's Natural Foods Restaurant in Tucson (1986), and the Bhaktivedanta Cultural Center in Phoenix (1996). His ambitious plans at present are to establish a multi-million dollar Vedic Cultural Center in Sedona, with ground-breaking ceremonies beginning in the year 2010.
