(As stated in our Articles of Incorporation: IV)
This corporation shall operate as a non-profit religious institution, comprehending and including all activities legally allowed in pursuit of religious education, public preaching, and operating a religious temple. The corporation shall dedicate itself to the furtherance of humanity by operating a temple and establishing religious cultural programs, festivals, and educational facilities for the promotion of India's great and ancient religious culture, the Vedic Culture. Services and classes will be open to the public, including living quarters for interested students and members of the corporation, and the facilities will include a library of literatures of the Vedic tradition. Through congregational chanting of the Holy Names of God, the distribution of sanctified foodstuffs, as well as by solicitation of funds and distribution of religious literature, the corporation shall function as a spiritual relief organization for all humanity. The corporation also presently operates an animal sanctuary for Indian Zebu cows (goshala), which demonstrates the Vedic principle of honoring and protecting the cows, who are considered in Vedic culture to be one of the mothers (go-mata) of the human being, by the supplying of their milk used in a wide variety of milk products, and in religious ceremonies such as agni hotra.
